Worship and Entertainment: Should Worship Services be an Evangelistic Tool?

If "worship services" are supposed to be about Him rather than us, should we even be attempting to attract and convert non-Christians through them? If we're supposed to be praising, honoring, revering, and worshiping God, should we be trying to utilize our services to convert the lost?

Thanks for visiting the Southside Church of Christ homepage. It is designed to be a spiritual help to both our local church family, as well as brethren and friends wherever they may be, as we strive together to "become partakers of the divine nature" (2Peter 2:4). - 10:20am - Worship
Sunday Evening
- 6:00pm - Worship
Wednesday Evening
- 7:00pm - Worship

About the Church of Christ

The Southside Church of Christ family is a group of people who are striving to learn, understand, and live what God's Word teaches. We want to be New Testament Christians- nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

We call ourselves a "Church of Christ" for several reasons:

We seek to be the Church according to His teaching, therefore we belong to Him;
It is a scriptural name by which saints in the New Testament were called [Romans 16:16]; and,
It hopefully identifies us to others as people who are trying to be the non-denominational Church which Jesus Christ purchased with his blood [Acts 20:28].
