In the previous lesson on "Worship and Entertainment," we sought to establish the concept that our own appetite for entertainment has corrupted modern worship. This lesson takes two additional steps: 1) Is worship really "all about Him" with no consideration or regard for the worshiper? And, 2) How do we know what constitutes "true worship"?

About the Church of Christ

The Southside Church of Christ family is a group of people who are striving to learn, understand, and live what God's Word teaches. We want to be New Testament Christians- nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

We call ourselves a "Church of Christ" for several reasons:

We seek to be the Church according to His teaching, therefore we belong to Him;
It is a scriptural name by which saints in the New Testament were called [Romans 16:16]; and,
It hopefully identifies us to others as people who are trying to be the non-denominational Church which Jesus Christ purchased with his blood [Acts 20:28].
