The biblical concept of liberty may be analogous in some ways to political or humanitarian liberty, but is also likely different from them in others. This lesson seeks to help us understand not only what "liberty" means in the N.T., but also how it is achieved, and what it requires of those who attain it.

About the Church of Christ

The Southside Church of Christ family is a group of people who are striving to learn, understand, and live what God's Word teaches. We want to be New Testament Christians- nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

We call ourselves a "Church of Christ" for several reasons:

We seek to be the Church according to His teaching, therefore we belong to Him;
It is a scriptural name by which saints in the New Testament were called [Romans 16:16]; and,
It hopefully identifies us to others as people who are trying to be the non-denominational Church which Jesus Christ purchased with his blood [Acts 20:28].
