Since we've had a couple of lessons pointing out the corruption of "modern worship," it seemed expedient to expend some time and effort in looking at what "true worship" is supposed to be. This lesson on the Lord's Supper will be the first of a series of lessons to follow on Sunday nights regarding what is commonly referred to as "acts of New Testament worship."

About the Church of Christ

The Southside Church of Christ family is a group of people who are striving to learn, understand, and live what God's Word teaches. We want to be New Testament Christians- nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

We call ourselves a "Church of Christ" for several reasons:

We seek to be the Church according to His teaching, therefore we belong to Him;
It is a scriptural name by which saints in the New Testament were called [Romans 16:16]; and,
It hopefully identifies us to others as people who are trying to be the non-denominational Church which Jesus Christ purchased with his blood [Acts 20:28].
