This the second lesson of the two which focuses on the Great Commission and how it should effect our efforts to reach the lost. In this sermon, the Execution of the Commission as seen through the early efforts of the Apostles is utilized to show the importance placed on the Resurrection of Jesus in evangelism.

About the Church of Christ

The Southside Church of Christ family is a group of people who are striving to learn, understand, and live what God's Word teaches. We want to be New Testament Christians- nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

We call ourselves a "Church of Christ" for several reasons:

We seek to be the Church according to His teaching, therefore we belong to Him;
It is a scriptural name by which saints in the New Testament were called [Romans 16:16]; and,
It hopefully identifies us to others as people who are trying to be the non-denominational Church which Jesus Christ purchased with his blood [Acts 20:28].
