This is the first of a series of lessons that are specifically designed to establish, or re-establish as the case may be, God as the central focal point of our families. Only when this priority is firmly established can we begin to be the kinds of husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, and children that He requires us to be. About the Church of Christ

The Southside Church of Christ family is a group of people who are striving to learn, understand, and live what God's Word teaches. We want to be New Testament Christians- nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

We call ourselves a "Church of Christ" for several reasons:

We seek to be the Church according to His teaching, therefore we belong to Him;
It is a scriptural name by which saints in the New Testament were called [Romans 16:16]; and,
It hopefully identifies us to others as people who are trying to be the non-denominational Church which Jesus Christ purchased with his blood [Acts 20:28].
