How Do You “See” Yourself?

This lesson is also based on the premise put forth by Jesus in Matthew 13:13 (see the previous lesson, which is the next one down in the list, "How Do You 'See' the Bible?"). This time, however, the premise is applied to really "seeing" ourselves- that is, "seeing" ourselves as God does. Four different N.T. men are used to show how each "saw" themselves in relation to God's estimation of them.

About the Church of Christ

The Southside Church of Christ family is a group of people who are striving to learn, understand, and live what God's Word teaches. We want to be New Testament Christians- nothing more, and certainly nothing less.

We call ourselves a "Church of Christ" for several reasons:

We seek to be the Church according to His teaching, therefore we belong to Him;
It is a scriptural name by which saints in the New Testament were called [Romans 16:16]; and,
It hopefully identifies us to others as people who are trying to be the non-denominational Church which Jesus Christ purchased with his blood [Acts 20:28].
