The Southside Church of Christ family is a group of people who are striving to learn, understand, and live what  God's Word teaches.  We want to be New Testament Christians- nothing more, and certainly nothing less.   We call ourselves a "Church of Christ" for several reasons: 

1. we seek to be the Church according to His teaching, therefore we belong to Him;
   
2. it is a scriptural name by which saints in the New Testament were called [Romans 16:16];  and,
   
3. it hopefully identifies us to others as people who are trying to be the non-denominational Church which Jesus Christ purchased with his blood [Acts 20:28].
