The Christian Family 1- Priorities
Posted by Philip Strong | Categories: Family, Christian Family, Matthew, Ephesians
This is the first of a series of lessons that are specifically designed to establish, or re-establish as the case may be, God as the central focal point of our families. Only when this priority is firmly established can we begin to be the kinds of husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, and children that He requires us to be. Specifically, this lesson addresses ways to properly understand and make God the priority of our families. (This outline/file is best viewed in "Presentation" mode after downloading.)
The Christian Family 2- Reflecting Priorities
Posted by Philip Strong | Categories: Family, Christian Family, Deuteronomy, 2 Timothy
This second lesson of the series concerns itself with ways to go about implementing God as the priority of our families. Specifically, it addresses three methods that can be utilized to make God the focal point of the family.
The Christian Family 3- How Priority Choices Affect Our Families
Posted by Philip Strong | Categories: Family, Christian Family, Genesis, Proverbs, Ephesians, Titus
Having already considered the importance of establishing God as the priority of our lives, and how to implement that priority choice within the family, this third lesson examines how these choices affect our families.
The Christian Family 4- Husbands/Fathers
Posted by Philip Strong | Categories: Faith, Christian Family, Genesis, Proverbs, Ephesians, 1 Peter
The previous three lessons in this series on "The Christian Family" have mainly with "big picture" concepts and choices. This lesson seeks to focus more on the individual role and responsibility of being a "husband" first, and then a "father." Some consideration is also given to a proper understanding what the term "family" means from the biblical/divine perspective.
The Christian Family 5- Wives/Mothers
Posted by Philip Strong | Categories: Family, Christian Family, Ephesians, Titus, 1 Peter
This lesson emphasizes the biblical roles and responsibilities of being a "wife" first, then also considers some of those for "mothers" who seek to be pleasing to God and beneficial to their families.
The Christian Family 6- Children
Posted by Philip Strong | Categories: Family, Christian Family, Deuteronomy, Ephesians, Colossians, 1 Timothy
Having already considered the roles of husbands/fathers and wives/mothers respectively, we are now ready to take a look at the role of the children within the framework of the Christian Family. (By the way, if you use the "View at Zoho" feature on a PowerPoint Presentation like this lesson, the automatic outline features of PPT do not translate well. All of the text will be viewable, but the outline numbers and letters will not be correct.)

Don’t give me that “Well, duhhh!” look- I’m not talking about physical anatomies here. Instead, I have reference to how they were created, and therefore, how they operate.
The Christian Family 8- Family Discipline
Posted by Philip Strong | Categories: Family, Christian Family, Deuteronomy, Proverbs, Hebrews
