What were You Born Again to Be or Do?

Think about some song titles: "Born to Run", "Born to Fly", "Born Free", "Born to Be Wild", etc. Likewise, consider some bumper stickers we've all seen" "Born to Golf", "Born to Hunt", "Born to Fish", "Born to Shop", etc. These are all things which we may think we were "born" to do or be physically. What about the thing(s) we were "born again" to be or do?
Admonish or Help

1Thessalonians 5:14 commands that the faithful "admonish the unruly" and "help the weak". The problem thus becomes: How does one determine which is which? This exposition of the text is meant to help resolve some of the difficulties and thus enable Christians to better assist one another toward the goal of heaven.

Ambition

"Ambition" is an interesting thing- we usually disapprove of those who have "no ambition" in life with almost the same disdain that we have for those who are "ambitious". Apparently there is a slim margin of acceptability in the minds of most folks when it comes to ambition. Perhaps part of the problem is the direction in which our "ambitions" often point. This lesson examines 1Thessalonians 4:11-12 to see on what our ambitions should be focused.
